Protesters Suck Posted 4/15/2008 12:00:00 AM Blog.Lately, protesters have been driving me crazy. Not personally, I guess. I have yet to have anyone protest against me. I'm sure that day is coming though. However, people certainly are angry about a number of issues these days.Seal hunts, Olympic torch runs, city hall, etc etcI think the part about these guys that bugs me the most is the smug attitude. They are so convinced that what they have to say is the correct version of things. I hate dealing in absolutes, because it's very rare if anything is black and white. There are always shades of grey, and if you have enough compassion, you can usually see the other guys point of view. Not protestors. They are 100% convinced that their viewpoint is the only truth out there. It's funny....protestors tend to be "socially aware" and preach tolerance for all. If you have a differing viewpoint however, the tolerance goes out the window. Anyone against them is ignorant, or worse. The things I've heard people say about Christians when they have a differing viewpoint is horrible. Would anyone say that about a Muslim or a Jewish person? I'd hope not. It's got a little bar called "The Woody" and we're all going to go there to enjoy some fine country hospitality... This promises to be one hell of good time - provided we mount up a big enough Army... Cabs are a little scarce so you might want to book a DD or a room in one of Warrens well appointed utility sheds...DIRECTIONS: Ok, from route 90 north: 1) Take Route 90 North to North Perimeter 2) Take North Perimeter west to #6 Highway 3) Take #6 Highway north around Gordon, around Grosse Isle, and around Warren 4) Stay on #6 until you see on the left hand side a "Probably-Should-Be-Condemned" building with Domo gas pumps out front.
